Nowadays, stadiums are a key factor in economic success and athletic performance. Clubs lacking an appropriate stadium infrastructure are more likely to struggle on a competitive level in the long run. Crucial stadium-related revenue opportunities are generated by modern stadiums.
To not only achieve maximum hospitality profits but also the maximum revenue from all stadium-related sources, a very detailed and coordinated preplanning period is compulsory. The various aspects of newly built stadiums are complex and require a high degree of expertise to unite all the factors of a new construction or renovation project.
Drawing on its comprehensive skills and know-how gained from daily marketing work all over the world, SPORTFIVE Stadium Development has been involved in a vast number of new stadium constructions and renovations, from the preplanning phase up to stadium operation, for more than 10 years.
In 1998, the department began life with the reconstruction project of the Hamburger SV stadium. SPORTFIVE was also involved in nine 2006 FIFA World Cup stadiums. Other international projects have included the new Olympique Lyon, Juventus FC and Dynamo Moscow stadiums.
SPORTFIVE successfully manages operation of the Imtech Arena in Hamburg and the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, including all third-party events.
